This dashboard features line graphs comparing national and Texas rates for lung cancer screening among individuals at high risk, shown for both the Original and Expanded screening criteria. Screening rates were determined by dividing the number of screening exams meeting USPSTF criteria by the estimated number of people at high risk for lung cancer and recommended for annual screening with low dose computed tomography. The number of screening exams meeting USPSTF criteria came from the American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Lung Cancer Screening Registry State Level Comparison for 2021.
